Are you tired of the FIFO and looking for a Perth based position?
Well great news for any senior mine engineer out there. We are currently looking to fill a Perth based senior mine planning engineer role with an international mining company. It is an exciting new project that we are currently working on and they need the services of a driven engineer to help with the planning team.
You will be required to report to the GM of technical services and work closely with other engineers. The great thing is that its with a small team with HUGE growth potential. You will be responsible for the development, review and detail of life of mine plans to safely ensure sufficient ore is always available for processing. You will also prepare the life of mine plans and budgets as well as completing conceptual studies on new ore bodies.
We require essential criteria to be successful. This criteria being 5+ years minimum open pit experience, tertiary qualification in mining engineering or equivalent, long term planning experience, mine planning and scheduling experience and a strong ability to work well within a team.
