client is a super-major and is currently looking to fill a Well Interventions Engineering position.
The Well Interventions Engineer is accountable for the engineering activity covering planning, program generation and execution of well interventions operations within the wells team. The Well Interventions Engineer reports to the Well Interventions Engineering team leader.
Success here is dependent on leveraging the collective efforts of some of the most experienced technical experts in the world. Working with a multi-disciplinary team you will deliver intervention programs/ designs for oil and gas wells. The role is office based located in Houston, but will require travel of up to 25% to the field.
Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelors or first degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong, in-depth understanding of well intervention techniques and wellwork practices.
• A strong track record as a Completion or interventions Engineer for an operator or a major service provider.
• Experience in the areas of rig well intervention, coil tubing, slickline & electric line.
• Experience working with 3rd party service providers.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time.
