ENGINEERING JOBS
The Contracts Specialist shall report to Company's Contracts Manager for Projects, and shall be an integral member of the Project team.
In addition to the above, the Contracts Specialist shall be responsible for the following :-
Accountable for compilation, tendering, evaluation and execution of all contracts as directed for the ongoing execution of the Project Management team, and responsible for the management of the contractual issues from initiation through to post award.
Responsible for ensuring all assigned contracts have adequate scope, audit, business principles, governance and quality control requirements to enable Company to enforce its standards in these areas.
Receive material requisitions, obtain quotes and/or bids, place purchase or service orders, follow-up, expediting, logistics, importation and cost allocation.
Proper and effective management of all contracts to ensure Company is protected against contractor / subcontractor claims
Representation at the Company contracts and tender review board
Works with external suppliers and contractors to obtain a competitive price, fast delivery, quality products and payment terms according with Company's policies.
Expected to identify potential supply chain savings.
For the effective usage of Company's Contracts and Procurement software tools and SAP
Builds effective relationships with contractors and suppliers
Regular reporting to the function in respect of all Project related issues
