Materials Engineering Business Team Leader
(Senior Materials / Corrosion / Integrity Engineer)
Report through to the Jakarta Business Manager where your duties will include the following:
Main Responsibilities:
• Managing/coordinating a team of engineers for materials/integrity projects
• Ensuring high quality, international-standard engineering consultancy deliverables are produced by the engineering team: Technical Assurance
• Participate in or manage client interface. Deliver to client expectations.
• Managing small-medium brownfield and greenfield materials engineering projects
• Participate in global knowledge sharing on materials engineering within WGIM.
• Assist business leader in developing and strengthening client relationships.
• Actively participate in Business Development and Management, including proposals, reporting, and client interfaces.
• Experience and exposure in the following areas will be highly regarded:
o Corrosion assessment, modeling and calculations and management
o Coating selection and rectification.
o Failure Analysis or Root Cause Assessment
o Coordinating Fitness for purpose assessments for pressure equipment & pipelines
o Prepare reports, datasheets and specifications to clients requirements.
o Linepipe manufacture
o Cathodic Protection systems
o Experience with Risk Assessment principles, processes and implementation
o Inspection program development and management
o Asset Integrity Management
Qualifications, Experience and Capabilities:
• 8 – 15 year relevant industrial experience
• Degree Qualified in a relevant area.
• Oil & gas experience is preferred.
• Some practical `hands on' field experience preferred.
• Exposure to a range of asset types (pipelines, process plants, structures, subsea) and onshore/offshore facilities would be beneficial.
• Demonstrable strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Experience leading a team of engineers and project management
• Computer literate
• Technical quality checking
• Ability to work in a team environment supporting other project disciplines.
• Excellent written English skills are required.
• Experience preparing Technical Reports is essential.
• Experience preparing Proposals and giving Presentations would be beneficial.
• Well developed communication and verbal skills in the English language
