ENGINEERING JOBS
JOB PURPOSE:
The Engineering Manager will be responsibilities for the following project activities.
• Accountable for all project engineering activities, in particular, development of facilities design in accordance with project equipments, standards, regulation.
• Lead and manager engineering team to ensure project technical integrity
• Accountable for ensuring processes and systems are in place for the identification and management of engineering risk
• Responsibilities for all engineering activities relating to FEED and Detail Design, and Detail Design, and control the design aspects during Fabrication, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning activities to ensure are performed in accordance with design
Responsibilities:
• Engineering Authority for the project
• Select Technical Authority and Lead / Discipline Engineers for the Project Engineering team
• Responsible for the design safety compliance with the project requirements
• Responsible for design safety of all facilities.
• Responsibilities for leading and supervising all engineering in their daily duties.
• Support the Project Manager on over project targets
• Support delivery teams to ensure project technical integrity
• Provide necessary advice, support and service to Project Management and Project Team regarding project status
• Coordinate and direct project, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities
• Manager and control changes and variations in design
• Prepare project specification and procedures
• Assign task to employees, supervise and evaluate their performances
• Write and review report
• Participate in interface coordination with Commissioning, Transportation & Installation, QA/QC, Project Controls and Planning
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• University or College degree in relevant area
• Minimum 20 years experience in Oil & Gas, Especially Pipeline and Petrochemical/Hydrocarbon project
• Involved in at least 03 similar project as Nam Con Son 2 project
• Proven experience and working knowledge of all areas including a leadership role
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment with work in Asia and / or Vietnam an advantage
• Ready to adopt a flexible work approach, self motivated and able to work without supervision
• Commitment to action through analysis and evaluation
• A leader and team player
