A major Oil and Gas Operator is currently seeking an Aviation Coordinator to manage aviation resources on a major LNG Project.

This is a contract role working on a 4 week on / 4 week off rotation based in Papua New Guinea.

The main responsibility of this role is to provide advice and guidance on the safe and effective management and utilization of aviation resources contracted by the Company in remote areas. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Scheduling, dispatching and distribution of schedules for contracted helicopters and airplanes on a daily basis
• Daily contracted aircraft Operator oversight in the Project area
• Monitor contracted aircraft Operator compliance with contract requirements
• Coordination of medevacs for helicopters and airplanes
• Prepare Aviation Reports on airplane/helicopter un-serviceability, Helo Operator Safety Meetings, Helo Delayed Departures, incident and hazard reports
• Interface with security, OSL, travel, transport and other departments as required


To be considered for this role you must have:
• Thorough knowledge of aviation including its processes for safety management, quality assurance, incident and occurrence investigation, auditing and technical limits
• Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and the ability to build collaborative relationships with key personnel
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills
• A strong understanding of the commercial, operational and technical relationships in aviation services
