My Hiring Manager is the Risk Manager of a renowned Risk Consultancy catered to Oil & Gas. We are looking for a senior technical advisor for the Oil & Gas industry with either conventional or unconventional gas experience.

The focus of the role is to develop opportunities in new markets with new clients and also identify opportunities within existing clients in the area of Risk and Safety practices. The key responsibilities will include:

* Work with the Risk Manager to define risk & safety offerings and then deliver these services to clients in Queensland, NSW, PNG & NZ
* Develop a strong relationship with clients so that you understand their current and future business needs
* Provide specialist technical advice & support on Risk & Safety Matters
* Prepare & review proposals and scopes of work
* Prepare and review cost estimates

You will be based full time in Brisbane and the remuneration will vary depending on your experience and status.

The profile they seek for this position is:

* Relevant Degree
* Over 10 years experience in Risk & Safety
* Thorough technical understanding of risk and safety
* Familiar with HAZOP / HAZID studies
* Strong commercial background - excellent business development skills
* Australia work experience.
