JOB TITLE: SYSTEM ENGINEER
· Understanding all safety, legal, standards and technical specification requirements relevant to a specific telecom project and their interaction.
· Ensuring equipment ordered for a specific project is technically compliant with relevant specification requirements, can be supported for the stated period and procured at acceptable cost.
· Ensuring that equipment specified can be successfully integrated with other equipment with which it has to interface.
· Originating block diagrams, functional design descriptions, and all other design engineering document and information necessary to ensure equipment can be procured, integrated, tested, installed and handed over to the customer.
· Providing information to supporting staff such as drafters and document compilers.· Complying with applicable parts of relevant ISO-9001 procedures.
· Reporting progress and status of tasks to the reporting manager.
· Providing technical support to system assembly and integration.
Requirements:
§ University Degree in Telecommunications / Electronics / Electrical Engineering
§ 3 - 5 years hands-on experience in designing, testing and commissioning complex telecommunication networks specializing in one or more systems below:§ SDH / Fibre Optic / Microwave / VSAT Satellite / CCTV / PAGA / Telephone / PABX / VHF, UHF Trunking Radio / Data Communication / Access Control System / Intruder Detection System / Navigation
§ Understanding about hazardous area classification and experience in oil/gas/petrochemical project is an added advantage.
§ Fluent in English and must be excellent in writing technical document in English.

JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Project Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of small to large projects (US$500K to US$50m) in terms of time, cost and quality with profit and loss responsibility.
§ Direct, lead and motivate the project team for successful project delivery while supporting individual development needs in consultation with the respective line managers.
§ Understand the contract and pursue opportunities to facilitate change, increase revenue and reduce threats to improve financial performance.
§ Use and make available to others knowledge assets and resources to optimize project costs.
§ Establish good working relationship with clients and maintain the customer relationship to achieve long-term retention and satisfaction for growth potential.
§ Monitor and control third parties to deliver services to contracted requirements.
§ Undertake regular project reviews in terms of budget containment and project timescales.
§ Close liaison with the procurement function to ensure the requirements of the project are met.
§ Provide monthly financial status reports for the projects, highlighting matters of concern and analysis of budget variances.
§ Provide monthly reports detailing the status of all aspects of the project and highlighting areas of concern.
§ Maximize contract profitability through keen cost control and claims management.
§ Liaise closely with all other project functions, ensuring that the project team is well managed and motivated in its tasks.
§ Ensure that the project execution follows the agreed company procedures and establish project controls to the current corporate standards in order to protect the organization.
§ Monitor and control site progress and, where necessary, act as site manager.
§ Assist the pre-projects group in establishing realistic budgets and timescales for inclusion in bids.
§ Identify and quantify risk areas at the proposal stage, where appropriate.
§ Identify customer requirements beyond agreed project scope to increase the business benefit from the project.
Experience & Qualification
§ Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in project environment preferably in Oil & Gas Telecommunications or Instrumentation
§ Degree in Telecommunication, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
§ Project Manager Practitioner level accreditation or similar experience / skills.§ Demonstratable evidence of successful project delivery and management on a project basis
§ Working knowledge and practical application of project management methodologies and tools.
§ Strong commercial, contracting, cost and risk management skills.
§ Good knowledge of site installation and commissioning activities.
§ A high level of commitment, initiative and leadership.
§ Good communication skills – written and oral.
§ Able to travel both nationally and internationally, possibly at short notice.
