ENGINEERING JOBS

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Establishing drilling engineering resource requirements and allocation of drilling engineering resources to projects
· Ensuring wells are designed and planned in compliance with Hess standards and the relevant regulatory regulations
· Ensuring that the Well Delivery (WDX) process is implemented and adhered to
· Coordinating the preparation of drilling costs for the annual budget cycle and for individual well AFEs
· Reviewing and approving work performed by the Drilling Engineers
· Coordinating development of bid documents, bid evaluations and contracts for provision of equipment, materials and services
· Coordinating the identification and assessment of new technology for potential application to EG drilling operations
· Interfacing with the Subsurface and Production teams on drilling engineering requirements
· Accountability for Drilling Engineer performance reviews, development, training, and succession planning
Qualifications
· A degree or in an engineering discipline
· 12 years of well engineering/operations experience
· Proven staff management skills
· Offshore drilling experience
· Proven project management skills
· Deepwater drilling experience
· International experience
· Mobile, willing to relocate and work in other parts of the US/world
