Department Overview
The Team Lead Facilities Engineer will be responsible to lead the coordination of construction of wellsites, pipelines and field booster compression stations, and to provide engineering support to infrastructure planning, development, program delivery, commercial and infrastructure operations for all field infrastructure projects.

Position Overview and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Eagle Ford Delivery Unit Manager, the Team Leader is expected to be a program and project manager ensuring HSE-OI, technical, budget and schedule goals are met. This role will be responsible to:
- Define and Execute project Scope
- Review and approve cost estimates and facility design
- Ensure timely and accurate cost control of all active AFEs
- Provide facilities engineering support to the Delivery Units and Infrastructure Planning
- Manage external consultants
- Lead and Support NAO and Division wide strategic initiatives
- Participate in regular tactical meetings
- Support, when required, opportunity evaluation and development activities for projects
- Drive business and safety improvement through performance measurement and review
- Apply Lessons Learned, functional Best Practices, and industry analogues to facilities scopes of work.
- Participate in Risk Assessments, Facility Peer and Gate reviews for projects around the world as required
- Load level work assignments within group of Facilities and Project Engineers (6-11)
- Issue weekly report of activities to Leadership Team
- Lead input and participate in Monthly Division Report
Qualifications:
Relocation will be provided for the successful candidates if required.
- 10-15 years production operations or facilities design & construction
- experience in an oil & gas environment
- Strong team work skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Construction Supervisors, Drilling & Completions, Infrastructure Operations, Stakeholder Relations, HSE-OI, Accounts Payable and other staff
- Demonstrate technical, project management and leadership skills and commitment to HSE and Corporate Responsibility, as required to successfully execute Infrastructure projects and deliver a quality product.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills to effectively interact with and present to Senior Management, partners and external stakeholders.
- A strong team player with good people skills and the ability to manage conflict and risk, often time-constrained environment.
- Suitable on-shore project experience involving contractors, partners, and Non-Governmental Organizations.
- Experience with Stage-Gate Project Delivery or Management Systems with emphasis on leading multi-disciplinary/functional teams through Define and Execute stages and supporting same teams through Appraise, Select and Operate stages.
- A desire for continuous learning
