Inspection Planner
The NDT Planner will work with Client (a State Owned Company based in Qatar) Integrity engineering team members. To assist in planning to conduct, evaluate and report the inspection and NDT activities, in line with the operation integrity engineering plans, to meet Client onshore and offshore operating plant integrity and reliability requirements for safe and continued operation.
Background:
• The Inspection Planner reports to the head of integrity engineering and to the Inspection Engineer (site representative).
• The Inspection planner handles planning, scheduling and reporting KPI of the inspection work as per directions from supervisors
The Following Skills, experience and qualifications are required:
• Meeting the minimum education requirements and years of experience as per the qualifications matrix.
• With years of Oil & Gas operating facility inspection experience in the field of planning inspection and / or NDT covering Static Equipment integrity management as given in the qualifications matrix.
• Experience with primavera and SAP is mandatory requirements. Experience with, AutoCAD and Smart sketch is desirable.
• Should be conversant with various inspection and NDT techniques.
• Good knowledge and experience with MS office and familiar with both SAP and Inspection Management systems (data uploading into inspection packages).
• With proficiency in written and spoken English.
• A team worker.
Preferred Skills:
• With Strong analytical capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in Microsoft Windows applications, good communication skills.
Specific Skills:
• Knowledgeable about the sensitivity and limitations of various Inspection methods.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationship with client and co-workers.
Main Accountabilities:
• The Inspection planner handles planning, scheduling and reporting KPI of the inspection work as per directions from supervisors. That's includes on-stream and shutdown inspection activities for all onshore and offshore static equipment and piping of process plants (stationary equipment) and piping systems, and structures.
• To comply with all Client Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.
• To implements Client SHE Management System, Maintenance and Inspection Policies and Procedures
