OPERATIONS MANAGER

EXEMPT - Reports to Sr. Vice President, Southern California Region

DUTIES
This position is responsible for the management of several field operations supervisors and an overall organization of approximately 100 field personnel. Responsible for all field operating activities related to on and offshore facilities. Position recommends, manages and implements development and operating plans for assigned offshore and onshore facilities. Requires good understanding of gas and liquid processing (including hydrogen sulfide), rotating equipment, and various artificial lift methods.

Accountable for operations safety performance and environmental compliance. Requires experience with emergency response and the Incident Command system. Ensures compliance with OSHA, NPDES, Air Emissions, Oil Spill, Waste Handling, Hazardous Materials Transportation, and other pertinent governmental regulations.

Prepares and recommends budgets to Sr. Management and Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a BS degree in Engineering and no less than 15 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience.
This includes management of field supervisors and their operator personnel. Must have on and off-shore operations experience.
