ENGINEERING JOBS
We are looking for Painting Specialist / Supervisor for 18 months extendable contract with our client , an International EPC Oil & Gas company in Qatar.
Job requirements will be:
• Prepare scope of work document
• Prepare methodology of works and schedule considering the SIMOPS manual and offshore operational and logistical constraints
• Prepare estimated bill of quantities
• Participate in technical evaluation of proposals
• Participate in TRA reviews
• Act as Company supervisor at site during the execution of works
• Review Contractor deliverables and ensure compliance to the scope and Company / International standards
• Witness the works at site and ensure timely execution of the works per the Plan
• Update project progress along the execution period
• Coordinate with TPI and Contractor to ensure that quality is maintained at all times
To perform the above, the candidate shall have the following qualifications / experience as a minimum:
• Bachelor degree in Engineering
• Experience in supervising painting works at offshore facilities
• Familiar with surface preparation and painting application specification and procedures
• Familiar with scaffolding erection
• Familiar with rope access and rescue procedures
• Familiar with HSE procedures
• Has experience in technical writing
• Familiar with planning software (MP or Primavera)
• Has experience working offshore - SIMOPS environment
• Having a certificate in painting inspection is not mandatory, but preferred.
• Shall have mandatory HSE / offshore trainings
