An International Oil & Gas company is looking for an experienced Indian National to work as a Senior Utilities Engineer for a Bangalore – India based contract role.

Job Description:
The Energy systems and other utilities specialist is part of the Utilities and Heat Transfer Engineering Delivery Group.
The purpose of this positions are:
-To deliver Energy/ utilities systems technical and consulting type of services excl. (process) water treatment and integration
- To be a service provider of first choice with a clear added value
- To develop, maintain and apply innovative knowledge in this field
- To work for RDS operating companies, joint ventures and non-shell customers as activity leader or via other parts of the P&T organization
- To be part of a learning organization in which it is fun to work The energy systems/ other utilities technologist is expected to be able to provide:
- Provide operational and structural energy systems and other utilities options to clients and deliver solutions. This work includes site visits as well as desk studies. -Support with 'hot' utilities know-how specific process or engineering skill groups and work together with these specialists to deliver and optimal solution to the customer.
- Provide technical expertise in the field of heat and power systems, heat transfer fluids, and other utilities - Provide technical expertise in the field of instrument air, nitrogen and oxygen systems
- Design energy systems and other utilities systems including the integration of these facilities with process schemes -Support projects and other clients with utilities reliability assessment and improvement programs
- Training.
- Guidance to technology development, design practices and procurement standards.
- Technical Assurance for projects and services within the field of water.
- Technology development activities in this field.

Within the group of water treatment and integration specialists there will be in total 4 Subject Matter Experts one for energy systems ( integration and reliability), one for industrial gases, one for fuel systems and one for cooling systems, that will be linked with the global discipline head and accountable for global coordination within their subject area.

Requirements:
The Energy Systems/other utilities technologist should preferably have an academic degree or equivalent in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
Dependent on Job Group you should have 10-15 years of professional experience in the oil and chemical industry or in other energy intensive industries.
The Specialist is expected to have a sound background in (process) engineering
Successful experience working as part of a team, self motivated to learn.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to listen well.
Results oriented. Customer focused.
