INPEX is the operator of Masela Block (Abadi project) offshore Maluku, Arafura Sea, Indonesia. INPEX is pressing ahead with technical and engineering studies of the Abadi field development for future commercial Floating LNG production

Currently we have a position open in our Jakarta office for a:

Offshore Lead Drilling Superintendent (Code: DRL) – EXPAT
Jakarta Raya

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Drilling Superintendent Operations in undertaking the Risk Management studies and its implementation for the offshore drilling operations - both exploratory and development.
• Support the Drilling Management Team by providing advanced offshore drilling operational expertise in the development of optimized offshore drilling plans and work programs - both exploratory and development.
• Assist the Drilling Superintendent Operations in managing the creation of tender process specifications, the selection of drilling service providers and materials suppliers.
• Provide basic drilling engineering expertise to support Drilling Superintendent Operations in tendering processes:
  • Work Specification;
  • Bidding Evaluation;
  • Selection of service contractor companies.
  • Support the Drilling Superintendent Operations in managing the drilling operations supervision of all offshore drilling activities and assess the overall performance of all the drilling team activities.
  • Assist the Drilling Superintendent Operations in managing the process of ensuring the smooth logistic support management for all off shore drilling programs.

Requirements:

• A minimum of Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other Engineering Sciences
• 8+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with at least 5 years in the Drilling Engineering and/or Operations.
• Fluency in English both spoken and written
• Computer Literacy and report writing skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
• Able to work well in a multicultural team and having high motivation, discipline, dynamic with good personality

Offshore Assistant Drilling Supervisor (Code: DRL) – EXPAT
Jakarta Raya

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Offshore Lead Drilling Superintendent in applying the Risk Management for the offshore drilling operations - both exploratory and development.
• Support the Offshore Lead Drilling Superintendent in managing the drilling operations supervision of all offshore drilling activities.
• Support the Offshore Lead Drilling Superintendent in assuring that the drilling services company applies proper QA/QC management and the most cost effective practices.
• Assist the Offshore Lead Drilling Superintendent in ensuring the smooth logistic support management for all off shore drilling programs.

Requirements:

• A minimum of Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other Engineering Sciences
• 5+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with at least 2 years in the Drilling Engineering and/or Operations.
• Fluency in English both spoken and written
• Computer Literacy and report writing skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
• Able to work well in a multicultural team and having high motivation, discipline, dynamic with good personality
