In Indonesia, INPEX is acting as Kontraktor Kontrak Kerjasama (KKKS) with BPMigas for many upstream projects since 1966. INPEX is the operator of Masela Block (Abadi project) offshore Maluku, Arafura Sea, Indonesia. INPEX is pressing ahead with technical and engineering studies of the Abadi field development for future commercial Floating LNG production

Currently we have a position open in our Jakarta office for a:

Drilling Engineer (Code: DRL)
Jakarta Raya

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Drilling management team in the setting up of INPEX Drilling engineering (well control and design), operations, and risk management standards and procedures - by providing basic drilling engineering expertise.
• Provide basic drilling engineering expertise to the team conducting the drilling engineering studies and the maintenance of drilling engineering software to support the development of optimized drilling plans and work programs - both exploratory and development.
• Provide basic drilling engineering expertise in the development of optimized drilling plans and work programs - both exploratory and development.
• Provide basic drilling engineering expertise in the creation of tender process specifications, the selection of drilling service providers and materials suppliers.
• Provide basic drilling engineering expertise in the management and assessment of drilling performance.

Requirements:

• A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other Engineering Sciences.
• 4+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with at least 2 years in the Drilling Engineering and/or Operations.
• Fluency in English both spoken and written
• Computer Literacy and report writing skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
• Able to work well in a multicultural team and having high motivation, strong customer focus, effective team player, discipline, dynamic with good personality

Sr. Drilling Engineer (Code: DRL)
Jakarta Raya

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise in the execution of drilling plans and work programs - both exploratory and development.
• Coordinate the efforts of operations Drilling engineering team in supporting the drilling operations.
• Assist the Drilling Superintendent Operations in managing the drilling-site HSE assurance.
• Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise to support Drilling Superintendent Operations in tendering processes:
  • Work Specification;
  • Bidding Evaluation;
  • Selection of service contractor companies
  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise to support the Drilling Superintendent Operations in ensuring quality assurance and quality control processes of the drilling-site Drilling Operations.
  • Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise to support the Drilling Superintendent Operations in solving problems and/or issues arising in the drilling-site.

Requirements:

• A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other Engineering Sciences
• 7+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with at least 4 years in the Drilling Engineering and/or Operations
• Fluency in English both spoken and written
• Computer Literacy and report writing skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
• Able to work well in a multicultural team and having high motivation, strong customer focus, effective team player, discipline, dynamic with good personality

Drilling Engineering Specialist (Code: DRL) - EXPAT
Jakarta Raya

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Drilling Engineering and the whole Drilling Engineering team in the identification of Drilling Engineering/Operations best practices from a vast source of documentation and/or operational reports.
• Provide drilling/completion engineering expertise to support the Drilling Engineering team in keeping up with the state-of-the-art Drilling/Completion technology to ensure the company employees the best technological support, methodology and/or materials/equipment.
• Provide drilling/completion engineering expertise in reviewing the performance KPI's of the well construction and providing recommendations for improved Drilling Operations.
• Provide drilling/completion engineering expertise in the introduction/socialization of new technology/methodology as well as in the competency development related to the new technology and/or methodology.
• Develop optimized drilling plans, work programs and tender process specifications (for the selection of drilling service providers and material suppliers) - both for exploration and development.

Requirements:

• A minimum of Bachelor Degree in Petroleum/Mechanical Engineering or any other Engineering Sciences.
• 10+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with at least 5 years in the Drilling Engineering and/or Operations.
• Fluency in English both spoken and written
• Computer Literacy and report writing skills. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
• Able to work well in a multicultural team and having high motivation, strong customer focus, effective team player, discipline, dynamic with good personality
