In Indonesia, INPEX is acting as Kontraktor Kontrak Kerjasama (KKKS) with BPMigas for many upstream projects since 1966. INPEX is the operator of Masela Block (Abadi project) offshore Maluku, Arafura Sea, Indonesia. INPEX is pressing ahead with technical and engineering studies of the Abadi field development for future commercial Floating LNG production

Currently we have a position open in our Jakarta office for a:

Sr. Production Engineer (Code: PED)
Jakarta Raya

Responsibilities:

• Participate in technical meetings of the non operator projects and in the case of GM absence, act as proxy
• Conduct the monitoring of the daily progress of development/production operational activities of the non operator projects
• Carrying out petroleum engineering evaluation of existing joint venture projects and new ventures prospects
• Monitoring and collecting information or data of Indonesian E&P activities including unconventional gas
• Liaising with Operators and with Tokyo Head Office for petroleum engineering matters of the non operator projects
• Constructing and maintaining Petroleum Engineering data base; Planning and implementing education programs for the subordinates.
• Work with Senior Development Engineer, provide advanced expertise - especially in the operation, facility and well assessment - in the monitoring, assessing, and solving issues on the operational activities of INPEX non-operatorship interests.
• Work with Senior Development Engineer, provide advanced expertise in the collection of data related to operational activities of INPEX non-operatorship interests.
• Provide advanced expertise - especially in the operation, facility and well assessment - in the petroleum engineering evaluation/assessment of new venture prospects.
• In coordination with Senior Development Engineer, provide advanced expertise in the setting-up, building and maintenance of a petroleum engineering data base to support both non operator ship and operatorship INPEX interests in Indonesia.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree in petroleum, mechanical or chemical engineering
• 15+ years with at least 10 years in the Oil and Gas industry
• Prior production engineering experience working with an operating company
• Fluency in English both spoken and written
• Computer Literacy. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Able to work well in a multicultural team and having high motivation, good leadership, effective team player, discipline, and a dynamic and good personality
