A requirement has arisen with a global oilfield service provider, currently looking to bring on a Quality Assurance Engineer.
With a sustained level of growth throughout the course of the past year coupled with a strong demand for the company’s products, there is now a need to expand the team moving by talented and experienced QA Engineer's able to maintain and exceed standards moving forward.
The candidate must have Minimum 4/5 years experience in the oil and gas
Relevant work experience that demonstrates ability to manage Quality Assurance section independently and sound knowledge of systems and related QA procedures.
Thorough knowledge of quality assurance, standards & specifications, international standards and legislative requirements. Able to prepare good reports
Candidates with drilling experience would be preferred.
Principal accountabilities
1. Review and approve contractor's QA plans and procedures
2. Ensure the inclusion of QA requirements in tenders/contracts/requisitions and evaluate tenders and requisitions against QA requirements.
3. Review CV's of contractor's quality and inspection personnel, provide APT with input.
4. Administrate non-conformance raised, and administrate corrective actions are taken
This is a staff position based in Aberdeen
Salary is wholly dependent on experience/technical skill sets.
