ENGINEERING JOBS
Due to a recent recruitment drive a small operator in Aberdeen is looking for a Senior Drilling Engineer to join their team.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a long term contract and an attractive day rate of £750 – £900 depending on experience
Qualifications & Experience:
• BSc / HND in engineering or related subject (preference for a degree qualification)
• FOET (Further Offshore Emergency Training)
• IWCF Well Control certificate to Drilling Supervisors Level
• UKKOA Offshore Medical certificate
• Significant oilfield experience and previous work in a similar role.
• Previous platform, subsea and operator experience.
• Proven track record in drilling and associated designs and execution
• Good data management skills and literacy in computer software (experience in the use of drilling software e.g. Sysdrill and P1 Cost Modelling, Wellplan, Compass).
• Well Integrity experience
• Project management expertise
• Commercial acumen and the ability to appreciate the ‘bigger picture’
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills, with tact and diplomacy to deal across different levels and comfortable liaising at management level and on the platform
• Willingness to travel and work offshore when required
