Progressive are currently working on behalf of a privately held oil & gas company in Perth, WA. The company is in a flux of growth through new exploration opportunities and the acquisition of development / production assets with upside potential.
We are in search of an experienced Geological Advisor (Exploration) to play an integral part of the growth strategy.
This is an international company with commitment and support from upper management to develop its business in Australia. The Perth office is small and dynamic, with multiple existing non operated JVs, and NVs, including potential operator ships. The successful candidates will be rewarded with a stable, cash rich company alongside an enjoyable, flexible and varied work enviro and attractive remuneration package.
Requirements:
* Min 10 years geological and preferable geophysical experience.
* Broad ranging experience in upstream oil and gas, both large and small companies, and including exploration and field development projects, new business opportunity evaluations, and basin level and prospect level evaluation skills.
* Good hands on PC and workstation skills with relevant geotechnical software applications (including Petrel modeling)
* Economics modelling experience desired (PEEP)
* Ability to coordinate in house or consultant studies.
* NWS experience (Carnarvon Basin) is advantageous
