A leading vessel owner located in Singapore is seeking Technical Superintendent x 3 on permanent position. There are 3 openings – Singapore x 1, Brunei x 1, Labuan x 1.
Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support to vessel on a daily basis
· Ensure all technical documentation is available and up to date
· Prepare technical specifications for repairs and modifications onboard the vessel
· Prepare budget estimates for vessel repairs, dry dock periods and modifications
· Prepare specific work instructions in compliance with the companies HSE requirements for the repairs and modifications
· Ensure timely completion of the repairs as per specification and/or drawings
· Assist vessel procurement and support the vessel buyer with technical details of required materials
· Maintain the vessel Planned Maintenance System up to date and check it's functioning and completion of the tasks
· Responsible to maintain the vessel in class and coordinate, organize the class surveys in a timely manner
· Ensure the correct level of spares and consumables are maintained onboard the vessel
· Coordinate and monitor the activities of sub-contractors working onboard the vessel
· Ensure that the vessel maintenance and equipment complies with the class requirements
· Manage dry-docking of the vessel and/or major repairs
· Assist the Asset Manager with upgrades and ensure improvements are made in accordance with the requirements
· Responsible for the implementation of HSE plan at work site, hazard and risk management in accordance with company's requirements
Requirements:
· At least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas environment and 10 years of relevant experience in a similar function
· Certified Marine Engineer or Naval Architect will be preferred
· Excellent analytical skills
