Progressive are working in partnership with a privately held oil & gas exploration company in Perth, WA. The company is currently in a flux of growth through new exploration opportunities and the acquisition of development / production assets with upside potential.

We are in search of an Exploration Manager to play an integral part of the growth strategy.

This is an international company with commitment and support from upper management to develop its business in Australia. The Perth office is small and dynamic, with multiple existing non operated joint ventures, and new ventures, including potential operator ships. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a stable, cash rich company alongside an enjoyable, flexible and varied work environment and attractive remuneration package.

Requirements:
* Min 15 yrs well rounded industry experience in petroleum exploration, production and development, including team leadership in active, operated JVs
* Previous experience in an EM, Chief or Advisory level position (Geologist / Geophysicist)
* Track record in regional evaluations, play and prospect generation, project supervision and in new business evaluations and successful outcomes
* International and Aust. basin experience
* Superior technical understanding of the full E & P life cycle (still relatively hands on) with an appreciation of commercial drivers
* Proactive, forward thinking attitude and approach
