A Marine Construction Manager is required in Perth Australia by an Oil and Gas Company to work with the EPC Contractor on the Construction of Marine Facilities and supporting Infrastructure on a LNG Project in Western Australia. The Marine Construction Manager will supervise the Resident Engineers, Site Engineers and Inspectors and will report to the Project Manager. The candidate will also liaise with the contractor and vendor representatives. Other Key Duties will include:
• Overseeing the work of the EPC Contractor in regards project specifications.
• Overseeing the work of the EPC Contractor in regards Legal requirements.
• Review of the EPC Contractors Construction Method Statement.
• Management and coordination of the EPC Contractor Maritime Technical Queries.
• Review the EPC Contractors construction progress.
In order to be successful for the role the candidate will need to have the following background:
• Tertiary Qualification in an Engineering Discipline.
• Minimum of 15 Years in Oil and Gas
• Able to work in remote locations.
