An International Oil and Gas Company is currently seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Lead for their onshore gas project in South East Asia.
The responsibilities are as follows:
- Recruits, develops and leads SQM Team for the gas project.
- Leads the development and implementation of the supplier quality management programme for the project.
- Ensures rigorous application of SQM standards in the pre-qualification of suppliers for the project.
- Assures compliance to SQM standards in the execution of the project through inspections, site visits and audits.
- Engages with Engineering, site construction team and SQM leadership to assure all non conformance are tracked and addressed in a timely manner.
The requirements are:
- Significant Supplier Quality management experience gained in the oil and gas or similar industries.
- Experience in safety and operational risk (S&OR) identification and mitigation will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Must be an effective influenced at senior project management levels
- Ability to lead and develop a highly competent team of SQM professionals
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Technical discipline and professional PSCM qualification such as CIPS, CPM or equivalent.
