Responsibilities: | ||||
Key Responsibilities : 1. The Manager is the authoritative source for in depth analysis and insights leading to the formulation of relevant integrated strategies, policies and decision for PETRONAS management. 2. Responsible to undertake comprehensive analyses for E&P and across PETRONAS businesses value chain, market analysis, competitors analysis, key mega trends, and analysis of internal perspective. Develop insights from these analyses and assess its implications to each business as well to overall PETRONAS; specifically leading to developing strategic options or investment opportunities and making sound recommendation to management on PETRONAS long term strategic directions, priorities, targets and to support Management’s strategic actions and decision making. Common Responsibilities 1. Networking and Relationship Building Foster and sustain effective working relationships with business and management institutions, national and key industry players and service providers in order to keep abreast with latest development in the relevant markets and capitalize on insider status and strategic alliances to capture opportunities for PETRONAS. 2. Corporate Governance Enforce the implementation of applicable PETRONAS procedures and guidelines and affects the compliance to statutory and legislative requirements in order to ensure conformance to the established Limits of Authority (LOA), groupwide policies and government regulations to safeguard PETRONAS and shareholders’ integrity and image as a responsible multinational. 3. HSE Policies & Codes of Conduct Communicate, interpret and champion and execution of the objectives and provisions of the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and Codes of Conduct and Discipline (COCD) within the working team and undertake appropriate mitigation and/or intervention programmes to safeguard business operations, high staff discipline and industrial harmony. 4. Leadership and Capability Development Drive the development of competent working team that will enhance and sustain staff capabilities in achieving high performance delivery by determining talent requirements, instilling values of integrity, providing leadership, coaching and guidance and implementing internal successions to ensure internalisation of the right leadership and capabilities in executing their jobs. 5. Mindset, Behaviour and Culture Develop and implement distinctive mindset, behavior and culture within the working team to achieve high, performance in work by leading the adoption and implementation of value interventions, tools and methodologies to promote and instill high sense of commitment, ownership, integrity and loyalty that will contribute to operational excellence. | ||||
Requirements: | ||||
| •Minimum 10 years of experience preferably in oil & gas industries. •Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field. •Strong knowledge of the petroleum industry, understanding the factors and trends impacting oil and gas value chain. Experience in Exploration and Production is an important advantage. •Strong experience across several businesses and corporate exposure would be an advantage. •Strong knowledge in economics is required while strong economic modeling skills would be an advantage. •Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills | ||||
