ENGINEERING JOBS

PT. YAMA ENGINEERING ,  a Fast growth EPCI Contractor in Oil and Gas industry, is immediately seeking highly qualified and experience professional who can work as a team with proven competencies in the whole range of development and improvement initiatives to fill the following positions for:

 1. Senior Corrosion Engineer – 1 pax

  • Graduate Engineering Degree in any  discipline
  • To deliver corrosion jobs designated by the Principal Corrosion Engineer to quality, time and cost. To provide corrosion consultancy to external Client and internal group.
  • Carry out corrosion risk assessments for offshore and onshore pipelines
  • Deliver technical reports to Clients on programmes  of work in the corrosion area
  • Supervise the work of  corrosion engineers

2. Junior Corrosion Engineer – 4 pax
  •  Graduate Engineering Degree in any  discipline
·          Junior: min. 5 years working experience in oil & gas industry
·         Plan, schedule and monitor project activities, being part of a team working on a variety of tasks.
·         Involved in all engineering aspects of installation process
·         Prepare, review and edit engineering and maintenance reports; consult field staff regarding revisions in analysis or modifications of system designs.
·         Supervise and/or perform test operations required to determine condition of soil, water, underground or submerged structures.
·         Direct the preparation of field drawings and assist in developing complete Cathodic Protection system designs.
·         Assist in cost estimation and detailed proposal development.
·         Participate in post installation survey and prepare final client report.

 
 3. Corrosion Technician - 5 Pax

·         Minimum Technical High School
·         Having experience 5 tears in corrosion and cathodic protection
·         Must be able to perform cathodic protection operation, maintenance & repair on pipelines, tanks & station facilities.
·         Responsible for Cathodic protection of KPL/MPL assets from Hartford, IL to Minneapolis/St. Paul.
·         Assist others areas of the company to perform cathodic protection as needed.
·         Understand and develop relationships with customers, both internal and external.
·         Must follow safety rules & regulations & promote a positive safety culture

 
4. Cathodic Protection Specialist  

·         Graduate Engineering Degree in any  discipline
·         Senior: min. 10 years working experience in oil & gas industry.
·         Design cathodic protection systems and associated monitoring for offshore units: tanks, hull and subsea components.
·         Define the cathodic protection method: sacrificial or impressed current.
·         Produce cathodic protection report including surfaces & anodes weight calculations, individual anode selection (weight, type, material), recommendation for their location.
·         Check suitability of the existing ICCP system design, interface with electrical discipline.
·         Develop dedicated procedure for software simulation of the whole cathodic protection system in order to optimize it and to perform those simulations.
·         Provide support to construction site during the commission and the start up of impressed current system.
·         Provide technical assistance to buyers for the evaluation of vendors documentation for the anodes casting and participate to PQT.
·         Participate to the development of the company corporate engineering standard for cathodic protection.
·         Review sacrificial anodes vendor quality plan and inspection test plan.
·         Review impressed current subcontractor documentation.
·         Provide technical assistance on various cathodic protection queries for the whole group


5.   IT Web Base Engineer - 2 Pax
·         3 years experience in Pipeline Data, Corrosion Data Base or Risk Ranking Data Base and knowing programmes such as: PHP, DataBase SQL, HTML, additional JavaScript, Software Design, LAN, Switch


6. Sr. Pipeline Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Review and critique contractor prepared design work scope, installation procedures and other documentation related to the oil export pipeline.
  • Track progress of vendors and contractors.
  • Interface with other work packages regarding the oil export pipeline, fabrication and installation work scope.
  • Work offshore and/or overseas as may be required attending contractor meetings and providing oversight of related work activities - e.g. actual installation associated work.


Candidates Must Possess:
Broad technical understanding of trunk line design and installation with some focus on deep water. In addition, the candidate shall have the following qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of typical pipeline welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GMAW, and TIG).
  • Working knowledge of the management of change process and procedures.
  • Experienced in critical path scheduling and construction management.
  • Skilled ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Good organization and communication skills.
  • Able to document work and maintain accurate and meticulous records.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good teamwork skills.
