Progressive Global Energy are currently working with a leading international service provider, who are looking to enhance their team with a Senior Geomodeller.
The Senior Geomodeller will combine logging technology knowledge with enhanced understanding of oil and gas geology which will enable to determine aspects like the hydrocarbon production capacity, fluid saturations of a reservoir as well as the lithology.
Your main duties will be centered on, however not limited to:
- building geologic models in Petrel
- translate various types of data in to representative Geologic Models which can then be used for FD
- work closely with the clients on FDP
- propose drilling location
- mentor younger professionals
To be considered you must have:
- Bachelors Degree in Geology or equivalent
- A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the industry, ie in a similar capacity as a Geomodeller or Reservoir Geologist
- Extensive experience building geologic models in Petrel
- Excellent team work, presentation and people skills as well as strong client-facing skills
- Adaptability to a fast paced consulting services environment.
