ENGINEERING JOBS
Progressive Global Energy has been tasked with sourcing a talented Risk and Safety Engineer.
The company to whom we are currently recruiting for provide marine, safety and risk management support to operators, ship and rig owners on a global basis. Due to an upsurge in project requirement’s they require someone with the following array of skills;
Experience working with Safety Case & Performance Standards
Experience in applying risk assessment principles
Experience in use of hazard analysis software
Maintain key safety drawings including e.g. hazardous area drawings, fire & gas detection layouts, safety sign & escape route drawings, etc.
Identify changes to safety case & performance standards and document to client.
Participate in and/or scribe for HAZOP / HAZID studies, Design Safety Reviews, procedural HAZOP, POWER assessments, etc.
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferable but not essential as the successful candidates will be working as part of an experienced team. The position is office based but brief overseas and offshore assignments may be necessary.
This is a full time position based in Aberdeen.
The salary for this position is dependent on experience. Candidates would be looking to command a salary between 50 – 60k – fully comprehensive benefit’’s package inclusive.
