Purpose
The successful candidate will have the ability to construct detailed geologic development plans, screen new areas for potential business opportunities

Job Duties:
· Reservoir development - Build coherent structural and stratigraphic frameworks, define flow unit and barrier architecture through integration of core, log and engineering data, and use geostatistics to analyze and represent spatial variation of reservoir properties. Integrate seismic analysis into geologic models to capture geobodies, facies, and attributes beyond well control. Work with simulation engineer to appropriately upscale and history match models.
· Opportunity development – Recognize, describe and value new, potentially stranded or undeveloped hydrocarbons in business development projects. This will range from quick, strategic scoping exercises to more detailed, full field description, modeling and simulation along with development scenario planning.
· Mentoring of less experienced team members.

Required Qualifications
Expertise using Petrel or Landmark applications, and implementation of 3D modeling workflows
· Proficiency with Geographix, Landmark OpenWorks / StratWorks / SeisWorks or equivalent software.

Expertise working in both clastic and carbonate reservoirs, fracture description and modeling
· Experience with Middle East & North Africa hydrocarbon systems
