This company is seeking a pro-active sales engineer to spearhead their Dutch sales organization. You will be responsible for maintaining the organization existing Dutch client base and developing strategy for new clients.

This organization is active in 10 countries and has office locations throughout the world. They have an existing Dutch client base which until now they have maintained remotely from Germany and Belgium-your chance to build the Dutch business! This role requires an experienced chemical/process sales engineer who enjoys autonomy and has clear ideas of how to independently shape the position.
In this role you will act as a window to the customer: this means having an excellent technical understanding of the client’s situation and process and the ability to translate this to the company’s product. You will combine technical account management with business development – just how you split your efforts between these areas is very much up to you and your strengths. The Dutch sales engineer is part of the organization European sales team of 15 team members.

The ideal candidate has a background in chemical / process engineering and client-facing roles. This role requires an understanding of the processes involved in various plants, clients encompass various industries ie food, FMCG, oil and gas. Specific experience related to water is a plus.

Salary depends greatly on the individual and varies between 55 – 70k.
