Jr. Petrophysicist - Reservoir Modeling
 
Responsibilities:
  • Has a geological or petroleum engineering knowledge to perform the open hole interpretation and formation tester analysis.
  • Provide standard petrophysical assessment for new well perforation and rigless program.
  • Provide petrophysical input to the appraisal, development plan and reservoir management of the assets.
  • Monitor data acquisition processes, QC log data acquisition and petrophysical interpretation in order to advise on well completions.
  • Provide petrophysical input during the well planning process to prepare a safe, optimal and cost effective data acquisition and drilling programme (i.e. logging, coring and LWD requirements).
  • Work together with geo-modeler and engineer in the construction of static and dynamic reservoir models .
Requirements:
  • S1 in Geology/Petroleum Engineer with minimum GPA 2.75, S2 in Geology would be advantage.
  • 1-2 years experience in the oil and gas industry and skilled in all core petrophysical competence areas.
  • Proactive and have "can do" and "strive for excellence" attitude.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skill and able to communicate well in English both written and spoken.
  • Able to identify problems and provide alternative solution.
  • Well organized, self motivated and able to work both independently and in a team.
  • Have the ability to express ideas clearly.
