We are searching for new oil and gas reserves from central Sumatra to offshore East Kalimantan. We have begun design work on our deepwater natural gas project off East Kalimantan through Chevron Indonesia Company Our geothermal operations in Indonesia help make Chevron the largest producer of geothermal energy in the world. Chevron sells lubricants in Indonesia through our subsidiary PT Chevron Oil Products Indonesia.

Requirements:
:
  • 5 years plus experience and 10 years plus preferred with onshore pipeline design, construction, fabrication, installation, commissioning and startup
  • Able to provide pipeline engineering input throughout pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning
  • Competent to act as Company representative for the review of the pipeline aspects of design basis, design drawings, specifications, installation procedures, etc
  • Have sufficient knowledge to ensure that the design work by contractors meets Company standards and relevant industry codes
  • Able to monitor the performance of design contractors and suggest remedial actions to avoid design deficiencies and installation delays
  • Be able to resolve construction and commissioning questions and issues during installation (e.g. as related to pipe laying, hydrotesting, welding, etc.)
