Job Profile
QA/QC Manager
Job Purpose:
Overall responsible for the smooth functioning of the QA/QC and Safety activities pertaining to the contract.
Key Accountability & Competency Area:
Plan the QA/QC activities for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & SCADA portion & hand over to the concerned QC Engineer , managers for follow up and implementation at the respective areas like at vendors, at sites.
Arrange internal Quality Audits & see that preventive & corrective actions are taken on the Audit finds.
Train & arrange meetings to educate other staffs on quality & safety related areas.
Analyze customer complaints, customer feedback & take appropriate action as & when required.
Set Quality Objectives for the Business Units and departments under Alfanar Construction Division, periodically review and report to the management for any bottlenecks.
Design & prepare the Divisional quality Manual for construction division
Preparation of Inspection & Test Plans as per Scope of Work and ensure compliance as per contractual requirements.
Ensure the inspections of materials before taking delivery as per ITP, applicable Standard and Specifications.
Check all materials and equipment delivered at site have receipt inspections and ensure its compliance with P.O, approved drawings and specification.
Closely monitoring of site activities and fully coordinate with PM / Site Engineers / Quality Engineers on daily basis. Ensure the issuance of NCRs in case of non-compliance.
Coordinate with all disciplines of Execution Teams and Contractors for Quality related matters.
Conduct and / or Participate in Quality & Technical meetings with clients Sub-Contractors or Vendors.
Participate in the process of evaluation to approve vendors as Company’s supplier.

1.B.S. suitable Engineering certificate, Certification as a lead auditor for ISO activities will be an added advantage.
2.At least 10 to 15 years experience in construction industry, QA,QC power generation & sub-stations experience will be an added advantage .
3.Good at pc skills (MS. Windows, office and Internet).
4.Should has creative& innovative thinking, Initiative and resourcefulness, communication skills, Problem solving & judgement, strategic thinking, resource management, impact & influence, team work. Analytical skill. Able to manage a team of quality engineers& managers.
