Summary of Responsibilities:

•To provide support related to subsea pipeline engineering which include pipeline, riser, flexible, control umbilical and subsea structure for development of a specific Project during conceptual, detail and construction phase.
•Review and approval of design engineering documents and drawings produced by FEED/EPCI Contractors as part of ongoing development projects.
•Review and approval of construction procedures developed by Contractors.
•Ensure all Contractors subsea pipeline engineering and related documentation is produced in a timely fashion and in accordance with the Contract and specification.
•Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of QHSE Assurance system of Premier Oil.
•To work closely with other multi discipline engineering during execution of the work

Key Responsibilities
•Ensure ITB bid documents and the Basis of Design represent the project’s technical and operating needs from a subsea pipeline engineering perspective.
•Provide subsea pipeline engineering support through the FEED/EPCI contract execution.
•Liaise with BPMIGAS, MIGAS and other Government authority during the preparation and execution of the work.

Requirements:
•Minimum Engineering Bachelor Degree
•Minimum 10 years engineering / project management related experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
•Familiar with international design codes for pipelines, flexibles and subsea developments.
•Good working knowledge of pipeline hydraulics, mechanical design, control and protection systems.
•A thorough understanding of subsea architecture and components used (including specification of flowlines, inhibitor injection systems, flexible pipes, umbilical design (electro-hydraulic and fibre optic), and well control systems
•An understanding of the materials and corrosion issues associated with subsea developments.
