Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Design the offshore oil and gas production facilities by developing mechanical/piping design concepts, criteria, and specifications, performing mechanical calculations and reviewing and implementing government regulations and industry codes.
- The Facilities and mechanical systems must be designed, fabricated, and tested in accordance with the codes and standards issued by the following organizations:
- American Petroleum lnstitute (API),
- American National Standards lnstitute (ANSI),
- National Fire Protection Association (NFPA),
- American Society of Mechanical Engineer (ASME),
- American Welding Society (AWS),
- American Gas Manufacturers Association (AGA),
- Tubular Exchanger Manufacturers' Association (TEMA),
- National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and
- American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM)
Requirements:
- The candidates minimum must have bachelor degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering and at least 8 (eight) years of applicable experience in the design of offshore oil and gas production platforms.
- The candidates must have a working knowledge of applicable codes and standards and must have been the principal engineer responsible for the design, analysis, and review of more than one other project with similar offshore facilities and mechanical systems.
- The candidates must have working knowledge in the use of computer programs applicable to such designs.
- Immediate availability is the most preferred candidate.
