5. Ready to be work at any field and working shift.
2. Barge Foreman
Job Description
• The barge foreman is in-charge of the overall main deck activities. He reports directly to the Barge Superintendent.
• He is in-charge of executing the works as per the approved work procedures & drawings and liaises with the Superintendent and Field Engineer in order to fulfill the specification / contract requirements.
• In charge of organizing the main deck of the barge to suit the work requirement.
• Responsible for setting up the barge on work location.
• Responsible for the Safety of all the deck crew.
• Advise and consult the barge Superintendent on modifications / alterations required on the barge to facilitate the work activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors (Diving, NDT, Surveying etc.) on daily basis, on all matters required to execute the work in the most efficient and safe way possible.
• Responsible for cleaning, tidying and general maintenance on the main deck.
• Liaise with the barge Superintendent in case of emergency.
Qualification and Experience
• Grade school or higher.
• 8 years experience in offshore construction.
• Commercial / Awareness.
• Influencing ability.
• Excellent command in English.
• Report writing skills.
• Very good oral & writer communication skills & committed team player Leader.
• Decision maker.
• Through understanding of offshore operations, Personnel and equipment
3. Assistant Barge Master
Requirements:
Experienced in the Oil & Gas and or Offshore Construction Industry more than 8 years
Valid Master >3000GT Unlimited Certificate of Competency with STCW endorsement or equivalent.
Conversant with international maritime rules & regulations, including ISM & ISPS.
Experienced on offshore accommodation construction work barges and rigs preferred.
Experienced with 8 point mooring systems.
Experienced as in-charge of marine operations and day to day running of accommodation work barges for up to minimum 500 personnel on board.
Experienced in estuary or coastal navigation
Experienced as a skipper or engineer on board of towing-vessels
Experienced for the jack-up process, coordination with towing vessels and guidance of the deck crew, all keeping in mind the safety regulations of the company.
Having target and maintain quality and precision of teamwork and personnaly.
High motivation and skills for deploying on different types of jack-up platforms.
High integrity and hands on mentality is required.
