The Operation Geologist will liaise closely with The Drilling,Exploration and Subsurface Manager,The Drilling Superintendent and Drilling Engineers to ensure that Premier Oil's geological well objectives are defined and incorporated into approved drilling programs. The incumbent is responsible for all aspect of well site data acquisition including procurement of services, supervision of geological well site operations and compilation and distribution of findings.
The Operation Geologist relationship management skills will be important when liaising with internal stakeholders,JV partners and external suppliers, and in providing support to the Drilling Superintendent for operational decision making.

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree / Post Graduate
Minimum10 years of working experience within upstream Oil and Gas in a G&G related discipline
10 years experience within a drilling focused role
Previous team leader/mentoring experience highly regarded
MS office and industry specialist software
