As part of our business expansion in Indonesia, we are seeking highly qualified professionals to fill in position below: 
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Balikpapan (Kalimantan Timur)

Responsibilities:
  • Perform Engineering design on project offshore and to fulfill Department needs and support engineering operation within the Company 
  • Reporting lines and interactions:
    • Hierarchically reports to: Head of Mechanical Department
    • Operationally reports to: Lead Mechanical Engineer (or Project Engineer)
    • Directly supervises: Engineers/DRAFTERS
  • Main accountabilities:
    • Basic Engineering Design and calculation reports
    • Technical Clarifications and Bid Evaluation reports
    • Interface with other Discipline
    • Ability to coach/lead/ guide young engineers
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of Design experiences in various package equipment for onshore /offshore application.
  • At least 10 years relevant working experience in an engineering organization of oil and gas industry
  • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering degree from a recognized university
  • Familiar with International Codes such as: ASME/ANSI/ASTM/DIN/BS/API 
  • Familiar with Mechanical Design Software such as: Codecalc (PVELITE is must)
  • Knowledge of PDMS/MODEL review is an advantage
  • Prepare to specifications, data sheets and requisitions for static and rotation equipment
  • Offshore visit experience
  • Able to work independently and have attitude to learn
  • Able to communicate clearly and efficiently with other parties
  • Good written and spoke English Language communication skills
  • Willing to be placed in Balikpapan
