Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all engineering activities in one equipment or multi-equipment discipline for specific projects in accordance with contractual requirements (design, budgeted hours, schedule etc.) by leading a team of Engineers and by coordinating with other departments and external agencies
- Reporting lines and interactions:
- Hierarchically reports to: Discipline Department Manager.
- Operationally reports to: Project Engineering Manager.
- Directly supervises (operationally): Equipment specialist engineers in the discipline
- Key interactions (internally, externally):
- Externally: Clients: technical specialists, procurement team, Vendors, Subcontractors.
- Internally: Procurement, Planning, others engineering disciplines
- Ensures the design of the equipments within the framework of process specifications and contract requirements.
- Checks or approves technical recommendations.
- Is responsible for proposing cost effective solutions.
- Coordinates with Lead Engineers of other departments and project support functions such as procurement and planning.
- Works towards development and training of subordinates.
- Provides assistance to Discipline Department Manager in various departmental activities.
- Contributes to project close out, lessons learned and project reporting activity.
- Ensures that company procedures are correctly implemented.
Requirements:
- Engineer degree.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering field in oil and gas (both Onshore and Offshore) or petrochemical/power plant.
- Familiar with NEC,IEC,API,IEEE and others electrical standards/codes
- Able to run electrical system electrical system study by using ETAP software.
- Lead Electrical Experience is a value added
- Able to communicate in English both oral and written
