In Indonesia, INPEX is acting as Kontraktor Kontrak Kerjasama (KKKS) with BPMIGAS for many upstream projects since 1966. INPEX is the operator of Masela Block (Abadi project) offshore Maluku, Arafura Sea, Indonesia, that is now in the early stage of Abadi field development with floating liquefied natural gas concept for future commercial FLNG production.

Parallel with the activities, INPEX Organization is growing rapidly and currently we need the following positions:

Petrophysicist (C/059/SSD/03/2012)
Jakarta Raya 

Responsibilities:

• Support and cooperate with professionals in the Subsurface Development in providing the petrophysics expertise in setting up subsurface data acquisition strategy and planning.
• Provide advanced expertise in the processes of petrophysical work such as data acquisition, processing, interpretation and related analyses.
• Provide advanced expertise in the processes of compiling results of petrophysics studies and analyses to optimize reservoir evaluation, calculation of hydrocarbon in place, reservoir management, and field development plans.
• Provide basic expertise in supporting geological programs including provision of inputs in relation to petrophysics study.
• In coordination with Head of Subsurface Data Management manage the processes of subsurface petrophysics data management.
• Work with other professionals in the Geology and Reservoir Engineering teams in establishing specifications of petrophysics-related works for the tender process and/or vendor selections.

Requirements:

• Academic degree in science and/or engineering related to subsurface data studies and management.
• A minimum of 6 years in the areas of exploration/reservoir/petroleum-related subsurface data acquisition, processing, studies and/or management.
• Fluent English both spoken and written
• Computer literacy
