Our Client,  EPC company in Middle East is seeking suitable to join their project in Bahrain as:

 
Lead Construction- Oil and Gas (Bahrain) - Bahrain

Summary:
Responsible for delivering the on-time, on budget implementation of a range of Oil facilities production enhancement projects, working in unison with the project and startup manager associated with the development of a desert based onshore oilfield from concept freeze through to startup and handover to operations/ close-out 
 
Responsibilities:
As the primary client representative in the field provide leadership, manage, co-ordinate and direct construction activities of all Client field construction supervision personnel, contractors and sub-contractors and associated project construction personnel engaged in the various field development projects executed under different EPC contracts.

Accountable for ensuring timely MEI completion and commissioning of the various EPC contract is achieved by the EPC contractors in accordance with the Contracts, company permit to work, Company HSE and Quality policies and all associated drawings and documentation in accordance with project priorities and schedules as set out in the integrated plan.

Accountable for  preparation of progress reports regarding the project Construction activities.

Accountable for maintaining the highest possible productivity, by forward planning and thinking, including  assisting the contractor(s) produce manpower and equipment forecasts for all work activities in order to assist in resource  mobilizations and demobilizations accordingly.

Responsible for co-ordination with the operations field management and construction contractor management teams  to identify all interfaces and develop safe solutions to interface problems to ensure the  minimum of disruptions to schedule and or production activities.

Responsible for providing input to Client's near miss and incident reporting systems.

Responsible for monitoring the competence of contractor staff to meet the requirements of the project and to maintain the appropriate professional standards for the project execution.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 20 years Oil & Gas industry experience within a multi-discipline facilities engineering and construction environment with proven management experience in a similar capacity of which 5 years minimum is required to have been spent in the Middle East.

Must have proven previous experience in the execution of EPC contracts either as client or contractor.

Candidates should have a recognized engineering qualification (diploma or degree) but the ability to demonstrate proven experience and an excellent  track record in a similar environment is considered to be of
greater importance.

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
