Jr. Reservoir Engineer
Jakarta Raya
Responsibilities:
  • Prepares, and reports for well interventions and work over.
  • Participates in defining well location, planning of facilities, design of well completion and indicating methods of implementation.
  • Responsible for all reservoir studies, reserves and reservoir planning activities for his assigned areas, plus any special projects assigned by Engineering Superintendent.
  • Perform studies for steam supply improvement projects, including participates in planning, design and preparation of recommendations for data collection for computer model reservoir studies and participates in the evaluation of results and information produced.
  • Perform any engineering work from field operation, geoscientific, to achieve a team effort working relationship.
  • Directs the collection of data for material balance studies and reservoir characterization.
  • Prepares various reports including monthly, semi-annual and annual reports for internal use, government and partners as required.
  • Keeps abreast of applicable codes, standards and procedures to maintain up-to-date compliance.
  • Uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.
Requirements:
  • A fresh graduate (S1) from an accredited University majoring in Petroleum Engineering or Geothermal Engineering or with at least 1 year of experience in geothermal or oil & gas industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the reservoir engineering concepts and processes; pressure transient and rate transient analyses; rock and fluid properties; performance monitoring/improvement; and reserves estimation.
  • Have experience with reservoir engineering tools
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly convey concepts and objectives orally; in presentations and in technical reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure.
