Senior Completions Supervisor: Operator: 18 month contract: Perth: WA projects: Offshore
A global operations company is searching for Senior Completions Supervisor based in Perth with experience working for an operator. This role is split time in the office and in the field meaning all applicants will need to be willing to work in both settings. Necessary skills include competency in upper and lower completions, the procurement of equipment, stress analysis, core testing and sand potential (sand control selection). You will also need to be capable of designing, ordering and running the sand control screens with ICD's and have knowledge of the downhole gauges on the subsea side.
Beneficial skills include an understanding of core testing and fluids testing for reservoir's, sand retention testing and previous use of the landmark software WellCat.
Key responsibilities include:
Working in the completions team in planning and executing specific completions.
Taking an active role in mentoring junior field engineers.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years experience in completions for an operator.
A broad range of knowledge with several types of rigs, specifically offshore.
Risk Management skills, including knowledge of Risk Assessment and Management of Change (MOC)
Teamwork skills
Australian citizenship, permanent residency or valid working visa will be extremely beneficial for this role.
