Job description
¿ Participate to conceptual, pre -project, and detailed engineering studies in the frame of projects integrated to existing installations:- Carry out GAP analysis based on company referrential.
- Participate in developing all safety-related modifications to existing facilities and corresponding engineering documents (P&IDs,
ESD and Fire and Gas logic Diagrams, Safety Concept, Active and Passive Fire Fighting, Fire and Gas detection, Evacuation and
Escape Route, Hazardous area classification, Safety area layout, Flare radiation and capacity, PSVs, HIPS, ¿)
- Carry out Quantitative Risk Assessment, preliminary Risk Assessment, detailed Risk Analysis, and ALARP demonstration.
- Participate to HAZID, HAZOP and other Safety Reviews or Project Technical Reviews
- Provide assistance in the Follow-up and close out of the cards raised during these reviews.
- Comment technical bids for Safety aspects and follow up contractor.
- Coordinate closely with process engineers on all safety related modifications.
- Provide assistance in preparing derogation request file
- Liaise with Headquarters for interaction of new Projects with existing facilities.
¿ Support corporate HSE for compliance with internal and external HSE regulations and Specifications.

Required skills
Education
Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Chemical Engineering
Experience
Min. 8 years of working experience in Process Safety Engineering and Field Operation, production engineering or HSE method.
Skills
Basic knowledge of international Codes and Standard or major O&G Company referential related to Safety Eng.
Familiar with risk analysis methodologies (Hazop, Hazid,SIL assessment, LoPA, etc)
Familiar with safety engineering studies (Dispersion/ Fire/ Explosion consequence modelling, Fire protection, F&G detection,...) and process engineering studies
