CNG / NGV Operator

Responsibilities:
  • Daily checks of critical parameters of CNG operation.
  • Daily checks of soundness of critical safety systems.
  • Onsite trouble shooting to ensure operation of CNG Station with minimum down time.
  • Alarm monitoring and timely communication with relevant authority for further action.
  • To maintain and keep accurate and updated record of all CNG-Operation and maintenance activities at the station.
  • To monitor and guide CNG fillers in CNG dispenser operations.
  • To coordinate the logistics of CNG trailer (gas requirement) between daughter station and mother station.
  • To act as first responder to any emergency situation
  • The job requires physical work with up to 100% of the work time is involved in standing at the CNG Station and moving between the CNG package and the CNG dispensers.
Requirements:
  • Industrial training institute or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/electrical technical grade.
  • Minimum 5 years of total industrial experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of total experience with NGV station operations.
  • Experience of working in a daughter station and control of gas logistics between involving Mother and daughter stations using CNG trailers shall be preferable.
  • Good Knowledge in all aspects of NGV filling stations.
  • Working knowledge of safety systems at NGV and public fuel systems
  • Good knowledge of English language with good oral and written communication skills.
