seeking a position:
Drilling Engineer
This position is reporting to the Drilling Manager for day to day
drilling operations and liaises with the third party companies related
to drilling activities. The holder of this position will be involved in
well design, discussion and selection of the applicable drilling
technology, AFE, and drilling program preparation. This position will
also contribute to the development and execution of drilling EHS, QA/QC
and operational improvement plans.
This position is also responsible for maintaining proper drilling
records, material reconciliation, gathering and evaluating well data,
producing well drilling reports covering operational, technical and cost
performance. The role will require active involvement to ensure that
planning, risk assessment, drilling program, peer review, management of
change and other procedures are implemented. It will also require the
preparation of bid documents, bid evaluations and to ensure the bidding
and material procurement process meets with the schedule and is in line
with cost recovery and government regulations.
Only the very best will be considered for the position, applicants must possess the following
requirements:
• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
• Approximately 10 years working experience in drilling area.
• Has proven ability to operate Drilling software.
• Experience in tender process related to drilling materials and services.
