Position: Country Accounting Manager
Location: Jakarta
Line of Management: 5-8 accountants.
Working relation: Local Finance & Admin Manager and
Regional Headquarters.
Mission:
Experienced in project accounting environment is an added
advantage. Indirect reporting Regional Accounting Manager in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Closing and Reporting , Forecasting, Costing, Controlling, Tax and Financial Audits.
- Provide leadership towards additional value added activities in support of operational and departmental excellence; while fostering teamwork between finance, accounting and operating functions.
- Provide direction on the most effective use of system and personnel resources to accomplish objectives at optimal cost.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting and accounting services to company in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures.
- To ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. Prepare and review budgets, revenue, expenses, invoices and other financial reports.
- To manage day to day operations of Finance and Accounting functions.
- Able to handle special / ad-hoc assignments from time to time.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other statutory bodies.
- A proven track record with more than 5 years in finance and accounting and preferably in a senior level position
- Experience in a project accounting environment is desirable.
- A proven track record of evaluating financial information and making actionable recommendations to Senior Management.
- Must be familiar with the treatment and application of foreign currency accounting.
- Ability to identify potential problems and weaknesses and pro-actively engage the necessary tools and resources to improve upon and/or resolve.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required to interact with all levels of management, to lead teams and to direct the work of others.
- Geographical mobility (2/3 days quarterly)
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting / Banking. Preferably with Professional Accounting qualification such as ACCA / CIMA / MICPA.
- Able to communicate (written and spoken) in both English and Bahasa Indonesia / Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in ERP system and Microsoft (Excel / word / Power Point).
