Our client is a leading player in the Marine industry. They are currently looking for a suitably qualified candidate for
QC Inspector – Shipyard (Dubai Based)
United Arab Emirates - Dubai

Responsibilities:
Plan, perform and carry out in-process and final inspections
Coordinate and liaise with all relevant parties and ensure that the work carried out complies with stipulated standard and requirements.
Participation in work identification as required.
Attend daily onboard meeting and perform NDT as required
Collecting, updating and filing all relevant inspection records.
Motivate, direct, align and guide the team.
Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
Conduct audits and report non-compliance to the Superiors w.r.t. Quality.
Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head.

Requirements:
University Degree or Diploma in relevant field or industrial experience.
Good communication skills and command of English language.
Good planning and execution skills.
Three years inspection experience in a shipyard environment.
Should be conversant with applicable NDE / NDT techniques & standards.
Qualified ASNT level II NDT/Visual Inspector, NACE inspector or similar.
Ability to manage / control a multi-national workforce.
