Our client is a leading player in the Marine industry. They are currently looking for a suitably qualified candidate for
Safety Inspector (Dubai based)
United Arab Emirates - Dubai

Responsibilities:
Issue and control of Safety permits.
Monitoring work on-board and other yard areas to identify potential hazards and instigate remedial actions.
Coordinating with the vessel safety representatives.
Updating the coordination board on each vessel as required.
Investigation of accidents and incidents and reporting on it.
Maintaining safety records for each vessel.
Emergency Response Team.
Conducting Safety Training.
Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
Perform other job related duties as assigned by the section head
 
Requirements:
Recognized qualification in Safety (IOSH / NEBOSH general certificate equivalent.)
Proficiency use of MS Office applications.
Good command of English Language.
Confident and able to effectively communicate at all levels.
3 years’ experience as a Safety Inspector or similar position in shipyard environment.
