Progressive Global Energy has been tasked with sourcing a
Mechanical Project Engineer to join a key account on a staff basis within South Aberdeen.
The position is staff and can pay up to £60k per annum - depending on the candidate profile - with other benefits alongside this such as company contributory pension, medical cover, dental cover, life insurance, the potential for a car allowance, as well as a bonus of up to 15% of salary based on both company and personal performance.
The client is a major drilling contractor within the global Oil and Gas industry, who focus on the repair, maintenance and upgrade of rigs across the world.
They are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to come on board with the current engineering team in order to be the person in charge of personnel for visit work, preparing reports, to be there on execution as well as at close out stage.
As a result, the successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Degree Qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience in a similar project engineering role
- Experience working onshore and offshore with drilling rig equipment and rotating machinery
- Able to work worldwide with no requirement for sponsorship
This position will involve extended periods of time away from home on a non-rotational basis.
